Terms and conditions of service

Pricing / Payment

We at B’s WoofPack Escape reserve the right to change pricing at any time, as well as charge additional fees. All added on expenses will be clearly stated and explained when your furry love has been collected. 

Payment is expected on collection of your pet. If payment can not be made, we will try to work out a payment plan. Although it is expected that payment is paid in full by that agreed upon time. If no payment is received, we reserve the right to seek legal advice to action into receiving said payment.

Personal Belongings**

It is to be understood that any personal belongings to bring for your furry love to enjoy during their time with us here at B’s WoofPack Escape may not be returned in the same condition it was left. 

Matted Policy

Here at B’s WoofPack Escape we strive to provide the best grooming service possible for your furry love. We will do everything we can to assist you and your furry love. If you come in with a furry love that has a matted coat, this will require extra time and attention. De-matting can cause pain and distress within your furry love. If we can brush them out and your furry love responds well, we will do so for an additional $30 fee. Although if de-matting will take a considerable amount of time or causes your pooch pain and distress, we will advise you – the owner of the need to short shave and that we feel it important to cease de-matting treatment. If you – the owner decides to not short shave, you furry love will be ready for collection without further treatment. 

There is high risk of nicks, scratches/cuts during the grooming process. Your pooches skin may appear red, be itchy/irritated due to the extent of the matts and lack of oxygen able to reach the skin. B’s WoofPack Escape will not hold responsibility for any injury that occurs during and/or after such grooms.

Fleas

If fleas are noticed on your furry love during a grooming session, B’s WoofPack Escape will provide a flea wash and flea treatment, incurring an additional fee of $30.

This cost covers the stock used and administration of treatment to ensure our grooming salon is free of active parasites.

If there are fleas in the home area, the treatment will not protect your pet once they leave our establishment.

Medical Conditions & Senior Furry Loves

Grooming can be very stressful for some furry loves, especially if they have any medical conditions or are senior in age. Grooming can aggravate existing conditions and bring to light hidden medical issues, whether during or after a groom. As well as cause your furry love a great deal of distress. 

Medical conditions and senior furry loves can create higher risks of injury when grooming, Hence cleanliness and comfort grooms are essential for maintaining the safety of your furry love. B’s WoofPack Escape will not compromise your furry loves safety to achieve the visionary “perfect groom”. The owner is asked to advise B’s WoofPack Escape of any medical, physical or emotional issues, any allergies/sensitivities or pre-existing conditions that your furry love may have/experience. Ie: prior surgeries, hip/joint issues, warts/moles, infections etc

The owner will inform B’s WoofPack Escape of any new conditions as they arise. B’s WoofPack Escape will not be responsible for any accidents and/or injuries to elderly or health compromised furry loves during their groom.

By signing below, you – the owner provides permission to B’s WoofPack Escape to groom their furry love, and has disclosed all relevant information to the best if their knowledge.

Dangerous/Aggressive Animals and Behavioural Issues

B’s WoofPack Escape will endeavor to provide service for uncooperative pets, although the owner MUST inform B’s WoofPack Escape if your pet bites, is aggressive in anyway, can be unpredictable and/or has any other behavioural issues, including nervousness/anxiety. If the owner fails to notify us of any potential danger risks, you can and will be liable for all medical fees, out of work compensation, as well as any property damage caused. If your pet poses a potential threat toward themselves, other pets or groomers, grooming will cease for the safety of all involved.

B’s WoofPack Escape reserve the right to muzzle any pet for their safety and ours.

Extremely aggressive or unruly pets will not be groomed. If a dog is felt to be exhibiting

behaviour that is unsafe, it may be in the best interest of the pet that the groom be stopped.

A fee will be charged dependent on work completed up to that point.

All bites are subject to notification of local authorities.

B’s WoofPack Escape has the right to refuse grooming services, stop grooming services, or cancel

grooming services at any time before, during or after grooming.

Sedation for grooming is not an option here at B’s WoofPack Escape.

Muzzles

Muzzling during a groom in no way harms your pooch, and aids in protecting both the pet and the groomer. In some instances, muzzling can aid in calming a stressed furry love, allowing grooming to continue.

If at any time the groomer feels the behaviour of your pooch is borderline dangerous to themselves and the groomer, B’s WoofPack Escape reserve the right to stop grooming, call for pick up and collect a service fee. We will not use muzzles unless the situation calls for it to maintain safety for all.

Accidents

There is always a risk of injury when working with animals, as grooming instruments are sharp. Even though we use extreme caution and care in all our work, accidents are a possibility such as nicks, cuts, scratches etc.

Majority of the time, this can be due to movement/wriggling on the grooming table or on other equipment.

In the event of any incident/accident, you – the owner will be notified immediately. If required, B’s WoofPack Escape will seek medical advice and transport your furry love to your nominated Veterinarian or Southern Tablelands Veterinary Clinic.

Any medical costs that may arise because of grooming, being elderly, aggressive, difficult temperament, from a previous/pre-existing or unforeseeable condition will fall to and be the responsibility of the owner. 

Late Pick Up

Here at B’s WoofPack Escape we understand that life does not just stand still and that your lives are very busy, although please be mindful when dropping off your pooch and picking up your furry love of the time. Please be aware that any time predictions we give you at drop off are an estimated time frame, and that several factors can cause a groom to take longer than anticipated. Factors such as pet behaviour, coat condition and drop off time. 

We will do our best to meet to the approximated time given to you, but please understand that

factors outside of our control can influence how long the process may take.

Your furry love must be picked up within one hour of the time the owner is

informed they are ready. Pets not picked up and remain  after that time will incur a fee of $20.

We will not hold responsibility for anything that happens to your pet whilst awaiting

Collection by you.

Satisfaction

Your satisfaction is the most important thing to us here at B’s WoofPack Escape.

If at any point you are dissatisfied with our service/s provided to you, please do not hesitate to contact us so we can work with you to ensure your 100% satisfied with our service/care provided.

We will not hesitate to adjust any grooming prior to leaving our establishment, and up to 48hours afterwards, providing we have availability. Please call prior to returning with your pooch. If we have no available slots within the 48hours, we will work with you in the following days to book you back in at no further cost if the appointment is made within the 48hours from original appointment. Any adjustments required after the original 48hours will incur an adjustment grooming fee.

Agreement   

By signing below, you understand and agree to B’s WoofPack Escapes terms and conditions of service. You also agree that you release B’s WoofPack Escape, its owners, employees and affiliates from all liabilities, expenses, damages, and costs resulting in injury (including death) to your pet(s) while in our care or afterward. You also understand that this form is valid for the lifetime of your pet.
